What is ddhhglobal?

Scientific development has brought with it new opportunities for development but also new social inequalities. The crisis caused by the pandemic has shown that whatever happens in any corner of the world will eventually affect everyone. The same can be said of global problems such as war, climate change, immigration, manipulation of information.

#Tenerife#DDHHGLOBAL moves to the canary islands

Welcome to the 4th International Congress on Human Rights and Globalisation (DDHHGLOBAL 2023)

DDHHGLOBAL convenes researchers in Tenerife to debate on the responsibilities of institutions, business and citizens to address human rights injustices. A conference to rethink new vulnerabilities, precariousness and social gaps and to reflect on the new dimensions of fundamental rights.

27 and 28 de March: Online sessions will be held. 29, 30 and 31 de March: Faculty of Humanities, Campus Guajara of the University of La Laguna (Tenerife).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN DDHH GLOBAL 2023?

Present your paper at the conference venue and interact with other colleagues doing research on the same topics as you.

Live ONLINE Congressman

Same as in person, but through the congress platform. Present your paper online and you will be able to debate with colleagues from different countries.

ONLINE Congressman on tape

If you prefer, you can participate with the video of your communication and from the website you can interact with other colleagues who leave their comments.

LISTENER

Publications and results

The most important thing about the congress is its results and also that other colleagues get to know your work. For this purpose we will record your participation, if you give us your permission, and we will disseminate your work through the congress website and the youtube channel.  We will also give news of the acceptance of your work through the social networks and we will try to generate interactivity among the participants in the congress.

Your contribution will be evaluated by the scientific committee of the conference. If it passes the blind peer review, you will be able to see it published in a prestigious publishing house, such as Dykinson.

If it does not pass this evaluation, we will include it in a book of conference proceedings, perhaps we will also publish it in Dykinson, but it will appear as such, as a contribution to a conference.  We will try to have these volumes ready to coincide with the congress. For this it is essential that you send us your work before 31 January 2023 in accordance with the style guidelines of the publisher (include the link).

We are also establishing agreements with scientific journals for the inclusion of some of the congress papers in their annual issue. For the time being, we can count on the collaboration of the Revista Internacional de Pensamiento Político of the Pablo de Olavide University, where a monograph will be published including a selection of the papers presented at the conference, revised and expanded.
